Chateau de Matel sur Roanne

Very nice evening, fine meal, little impromptu history of the castle, very pleasant.

A magnificent place full of history that the owner kindly shows us. At the gates of Roanne in a green setting. Highly recommended 🫶

I had the opportunity to have a family celebration in this magnificent setting and I admit that this place is ideal. Sufficient parking to park around fifty cars, a dining room, another for dancing, a preparation room with dishwasher, fridge, hob... In terms of rooms, the Henri IV suite is magnificent with a whirlpool bathtub and two sinks. The other rooms are spacious enough for a couple and a small family. The castle also has 3 renovated buses with rooms: one is designed for a couple with a double bed, a bathroom and WC area, a lunch table; the other two are designed for a family of 4 with two single beds and a double bed, shower and WC. The park is equipped with a pretty pond and several garden tables.

Château d'époque avec son cachet, par contre l'insonorisation laisse à désirer surtout quand les voisins prennent des douches à minuit
