We were fortunate enough to spend a night at Château de Matel, and the experience was simply exceptional. This historic place, founded by nuns, exudes an atmosphere that is both peaceful and authentic. The château is beautifully maintained, with a charm that works its magic from the very first moment. We stayed in the Polignac suite with our family of four, and everything was perfect: comfort, elegance, and serenity. A truly timeless experience. But beyond the setting, it was above all the warm welcome that deeply impressed us. The owner is exceptionally kind, attentive, and genuinely concerned about the well-being of his guests. We immediately felt right at home. A huge thank you for this enchanting interlude. We wholeheartedly recommend this place and hope to return very soon.

We rented the estate for our wedding. Olivier is very friendly, always available to help, and offered excellent advice. The estate is magnificent, well-equipped, and versatile; the rooms are comfortable and very clean: our guests were delighted.
