It was the perfect setting for our daughter’s wedding and an unforgettable three-day celebration that surpassed anything we could have imagined. It was, quite simply, beyond our dreams. From the very first moment, Sandra and her exceptional team made us feel completely at ease. Every detail was handled with care, professionalism and genuine warmth. Nothing was ever too much trouble, allowing us to relax and cherish every moment with our family and friends. A very special thank you to Martial, the Chef, whose culinary expertise was nothing short of exceptional. Every meal throughout the celebration was beautifully prepared and presented, and each one delighted our guests. The food was outstanding from beginning to end. The château itself is breathtaking, the surroundings are stunning, and the atmosphere is magical. Combined with the impeccable service and attention to detail, it created a celebration that none of us will ever forget. Every single one of our wedding guests commented on what an incredible experience it had been. They praised the venue, the wonderful hospitality, the outstanding food and the seamless organisation, with many saying it was the best wedding they had ever attended. My wife and I decided to come here for our big honeymoon trip, to do a culinary vacation with an emphasis on cooking classes, winery tours, and local gastronomy - and we had a blast! Chateau de Sanse offers these "Cookery" weeks on occasion and we had booked through the International Kitchen. During our stay, we had the greatest time with our fellow foodies and Sandra and Joris, who despite only knowing them for a week, we left feeling like they were family going back decades. Furthermore, Chefs Martial and Victoria provided fantastic mentorship and guidance during our cooking classes, helping my wife and I and the other participants to build our confidence with preparation techniques and learning new recipes that we've already replicated back home. The Chateau itself is a gorgeous place to behold and relax, with well-appointed rooms and a lounge. We also went on several excursions in and around the St. Emillion region to learn about winemakers in Bordeaux and sampling all that the appellation has to offer. Overall, we had an incredible experience that will last a lifetime. We're so happy we took the chance and we can't wait to be back!

We just spent a week at Chateau de Sanse on a combination cooking and wine tour through The International Kitchen. The Hosts, staff, the chefs were clearly all there to provide the best experience for their guests. The rooms and service were very comfortable. The food (and wine) was incredible. The owners/hosts treated us all like family. If you are looking for a peaceful place in the Bordeaux countryside with great food and service, this is it.
