Chateau d'Orfeuillette Restaurant sur Albaret-Sainte-Marie

Unusual decor and an exceptional location. You'd think you were at Courrèges. Even in the middle of a heatwave, it's cool. The menu is inventive and delicious. The staff is lovely, helpful, and always available. You feel so comfortable here. The proximity to the highway is a real advantage. Whether you're just stopping over or staying longer, you'll find everything you're looking for: peace and quiet, a view, fine dining, a warm welcome, relaxation... and what's more, they accept pets in the rooms and the restaurant.

I loved my experience at Château d'Orfeuillette. It was incredibly peaceful; I left feeling completely relaxed and with stars in my eyes. The staff were lovely. My room was very nice, although a few small things were missing (kettle, chair, etc.). I particularly enjoyed the swings, the tranquility, the discretion and hospitality of the staff, the lobby decor, the quality of the bedding, the cleanliness of the room, the slippers and bathrobes provided, and of course, the swimming pool. All that's missing is a horse or two in the park, and it would be paradise :). I can't wait to return.

We spent a night at the château and dined at the restaurant. A warm and very professional welcome in an absolutely peaceful setting. For our meal, the chef was able to prepare a completely vegan menu upon request. The cuisine was absolutely excellent, so subtle and perfectly executed, in addition to being very generous portions. What a treat to have been able to enjoy gourmet vegan cuisine; thank you so much. We will definitely be back.

A magnificent place in a calm and peaceful setting. The hotel is very luxurious and has a superb swimming pool. The staff is particularly pleasant and attentive. We had an excellent stay and recommend this establishment without hesitation.

Magnificent building and truly friendly staff. The château is ideally located next to the motorway exit. There is ample parking. The grounds and its two-hundred-year-old trees are breathtaking. I have a soft spot for the swing hanging under the large oak tree near the pool. We were lucky enough to stay during the off-season and had the pool all to ourselves. On Monday evening, we dined at the hotel restaurant. It's closed on Tuesday evenings, but just 1 km away you'll find Le Rocher Blanc, which is also very good. The bed is very comfortable (room 5). In the summer, it gets a bit hot (no air conditioning), but we slept with the windows open as the nights are cool. We didn't have breakfast, but we ordered a picnic basket, and it was excellent! Thank you to all the staff and the manager for their kindness.

The hotel boasts an absolutely magnificent setting, both the château and the garden, with views of the beautiful Margeride region. Regarding amenities, breakfast is rather expensive, but the service and selection of products are commensurate with the price. Having stayed in the Orangerie annex, we found the accommodations more basic but nonetheless clean and functional, with very comfortable beds. As for dining, we were unpleasantly surprised to find the château's restaurant closed without prior notice, despite having a reservation. However, a solution was found with another establishment offering good value for money.

A splendid, elegant, and refined setting, ideal for a wonderful experience. The cuisine is a true delight: creativity, finesse, and refinement. Sophisticated dishes, beautiful flavor combinations, and superb ingredients on the plate. Pleasant service and perfectly paced dining. A successful gastronomic experience from beginning to end. A truly excellent restaurant in Lozère, well worth discovering.
