Stopped here overnight on our way from Switzerland in November, an amazing spot with some outstanding food, the service was impeccable and we enjoyed the chance to try different wines from the area. A treat the following morning to be shown the wine cellar by Romuald and talk about his long career at the top of the culinary food scene

This is an exceptional place. The restaurant and service is outstanding and yet manages to be unpretentious. As someone who is gluten intolerant it is one of the few establishments I have come across in France who take pride in not just accommodating the dietary preference but ensuring they had prepared special amuse bouche without gluten. It is a reflection of the care and attention to detail they take. Worth making a detour to visit (even if you are not gluten intolerant!).

A very beautiful establishment on the outskirts of Dole, quietly located in a beautiful park. The rooms are superb, the breakfast is of good quality, and the staff is very attentive and very professional. We will return for a stopover during a future visit to this beautiful region, and this time will taste the chef's cuisine!

Exquisite cuisine, the interplay of flavors and textures, naturally alongside high-quality produce, is excellent. The wine selection is exceptional and unconventional. The sommelier's expert recommendations rounded out the dinner. We would gladly return.

We dined at the Château du Mont Joly for my birthday. The setting is beautiful, with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The menu is excellent; the dishes are refined, well-presented, and full of flavor. Special mention goes to the quality of the ingredients and the chef's creativity! The staff is welcoming, attentive, and always smiling, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. A wonderful discovery; I definitely recommend the Mont Joly restaurant for a gourmet and convivial experience.

Le Chalet du Mont Roland

09/03/2026: Everything was excellent! The hotel has a beautiful location; the rooms are very clean and well-equipped. In the evening, we enjoyed a set menu that was very well prepared and tasted delicious. The prices for both the food and the room were fair!
06/03/2026: Nice, but it's become very expensive this year (2026). There are much cheaper options in Dole.
