We only had dinner here so we can't judge the rest of the hotel. Positive: +very nice meal +cheese trolley is fun and cozy +good prices for adult menu + very friendly service (but awkward moment when paying, see further) + cozy classic interior but it has something of "what if grandma and grandpa opened a restaurant", so it's not for everyone. Negative: -children's menu is really expensive. 16 euros for fries, a sauce and a chicken fillet, and 1 scoop of ice cream... in France a children's menu is on average 8-12 euros -the chairs were really uncomfortable. They were old upholstered chairs without good support. It was so bad that I even had to sit in the car seat for 10 minutes to rest. -the service is very classic and correct according to the old 'protocol', but at checkout they asked directly for a tip. I have never experienced this at a restaurant. We also felt very uncomfortable about this Conclusion: in all honesty, we will probably not return here, but I do think this restaurant is recommended for people who like an old interior. Almost all guests were over 60 years old. It's the first time I've criticized chairs... because they asked for a tip at the end, we left with a very uncomfortable feeling. But still, if you don't have children, and you're not looking for a modern interior (there was even a stained glass window in the ceiling of the restaurant!), I think you can definitely find a delicious meal here for a very democratic price. I'm hesitating between 3 and 4 stars, but since some of it is personal preference, I'm leaning towards a cautious 4...

This is an amazing hotel set in own grounds, the gardens are fabulous. There is a tennis court for knock about. The building offers lots of character and charm. The hosts are a fabulous family that can’t do enough to help in any way to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Well then it comes to food, it is out of this world and the presentation is awesome. Before dinner you can have an aperitif on the large terrace or in the lounge area, where they will take your order. You will be called to your table once the food is nearly ready to a delight that court match any top Michelin star restaurant. The wine list is plentiful as is the selection of from ages dans le chariot. Even breakfast is a delight of croissants, bread, cheeses, yogurts, eggs, fruits, preserves etc. All served with fruit juices, teas and coffee. We stayed here last year and had to return. What a fabulous establishment that I would recommend.

Very good base for Opal Coast and surroundings. Friendly welcome. And as a small group, very well served!
