Great guesthouse, to stay for a weekend with my family, great welcome. The rooms are clean. My children really liked it. The only thing I can say is that the breakfast was salty. Example of eggs... Otherwise it was cool I recommend

A great place to stay in the wonderful surroundings of some of the best vineyards in the world. The apartment was perfect for a stay of six people. There is enough space, three toilets, two bathrooms. While the rooms itselves could use a little sprucing up, the house and pool overlooking the vineyards are second to none. Quiet, picturesque and special. The hosts are very friendly and they offer first-class cuisine that should definitely tried. Merci beaucoup for the great stay.

The decor of the rooms may not suit everyone. Very good food and breakfast. Very well located, access on foot to several castles, very pretty landscapes and very quiet. The host may seem cold, but he is not, very warm and gives good advice on visits.

Ce charmant restaurant situé au milieu des vignes de Sauternes et tout près d’Yquem propose une cuisine simple et de grande qualité dans un cadre agréable. Le service est également excellent et les prix très raisonnables. Merci au sympathique et courageux patron pour cet excellent moment passé « comme à la maison «  Top.

On est très bien reçu , c'est un endroit charmant avec vue sur les vignes , les assiettes sont copieuses et c'est un régal , on y retournera c'est sûr.

Very pleasant stay in the middle of the Sauternes vineyards, close to the largest listed castles. Calm assured. Very nice home. To be redone and recommended.

29/08/2024: Passing through Sauternes, a mandatory stop was required. A nice menu described by the chef at each stage. A pleasant maitre d' and waiter, in a perfectly orchestrated setting. Gourmet restaurant that I recommend with my eyes closed.

30/07/2024: As we had a booking we were pointed to a table immediately. For us the table was facing the wrong way, so we moved the chairs around. This didn't last long as we had to move to make way for a pram. Okay, all settled again. We had to ask for the menu after about 15 minutes, then we had to ask to place our order after 30 minutes. There was just one man waiting on the tables and a younger guy, who could have been his son, helping out, but as they got busier, he also started taking orders. They were very busy and people were being turned away. We ordered the menu of the day with us both having the pate as entree, the fish as the plat and then a pineapple desert. The food was excellent, well presented and tasty. The fish was served with mussels and a lemon cream sauce to die for! The food made up for the slack unfriendly service to begin with. Well worth the visit, but definitely worth making a booking to be sure of getting in.
23/03/2024: One night in Sauternes and this is the place to go. Charming ambience, good service and delicious, well-presented food at a very reasonable price. Three courses, half a bottle of decent white Graves and a generous glass of the sweet stuff : all for €92. No complaints!
