Great visit. Dogs are welcome in the park and in a carrier for visiting the castle. Thank you to the management. The self-service restaurant is very good with very reasonable prices.

Undoubtedly one of the most spectacular châteaux in the Loire Valley, the building itself, the quality of the collections, and its setting (gardens and forests) are all breathtaking. A little tip: it's best to book for the first few hours of opening to fully enjoy the tranquility of the château and gardens and avoid the influx of tourist buses that quickly make the place unbearable.

We could have spent the whole day there, there's so much to see! Between the castle's interior and the grounds, you should definitely allow more than two hours. The children loved the maze! There are plenty of places to eat on site, with snack options, a restaurant, and even a wine cellar. But bring a fan for inside the castle, as it gets very hot! A must-see if you're in the area!

A must-see Loire Valley château: magnificent, legendary, and steeped in women's history. If you happen to get Ambre for the guided tour, you're incredibly lucky!

The châteaux was beautiful but far too many people were allowed into the château at the same time. Much better to visit out of season. The gardens were beautiful. The Royal farm in the grounds were pleasant to walk around and the flower and vegetable beds were interesting and beautifully designed. The restaurant and café service were really good.
