Cheri Bibi sur Biarritz

Cuando se le preguntó si el servicio está incluido, el camarero dijo que no, pero se enteró de que por ley el servicio está incluido en todos los restaurantes franceses. Dejamos una propina generosa como lo haríamos en los Estados Unidos, pero ahora estamos muy molestos y no recomiendo este lugar.

We thought we’d booked a table but realised on arrival that we had just been on the waiting list…(we hadn’t translated the email properly.) We we’re grateful they could fit us in, sitting at the bar- which offered a brilliant view of the kitchen and chefs prepping. We couldn’t order one of the dishes because it was reserved for booked customers. That was the only slight disappointment but we understood the server’s logic. We got chatting to the owner who was working in front of us and he was so friendly and passionate about the ingredients/dishes. The radish dish was out of this world and we loved the green bean dish too. Nice vibe, a bit hipster and happening, nestled in a more residential part of the city. Would recommend to anyone.

Excellent! If they would switch the napkins from paper to tissue they could receive their first star ⭐️!

Inventive cuisine full of flavor. An atypical and excellent selection of natural wines. This is a very nice discovery!

A gem of a restaurant in Biarritz - inventive dishes from loval produce and a great selection of natural wines, that you can browsw directly in their walk in wine cellar. The service is always totally efficient and charming.

In a residential, non touristy area, Cheri Bibi serves both locals and tourists alike managing the evening with great professionalism. Every plate we ordered was delicious with sauces we wiped off the plates with bread. Bottled wine selection for reds was limited but we enjoyed the selection by the glass. A hipster atmosphere but plenty of families welcomed (and a toddler was quite happy eating in a lovely rattan baby chair). Reservations a must.
