The welcome and service are genuinely friendly, and on top of that, the food at Chéri Bibi is excellent. It can feel a little cramped at times, but that's part of its charm: the place has a real homey feel. Between courses, you can easily step outside for a smoke or some fresh air, and you can choose your (natural) wine from the wine cellar. Bonus: a podcast is playing in the restrooms. The cuisine is seasonal, precise, and unpretentious, and you can tell that everything is made with care by people who love to eat and share. The same attention to detail is given to the appetizers, main courses, and desserts, which is really great. Everything is designed to be shared, with no pressure to order, and the wine selection is perfectly suited to all budgets. We especially loved the Getaria anchovies with burnt lemon cream, the raw amberjack, and the white almond soup. And always save room for dessert.

Simple, efficient, and very good! Glad to have finally been able to enjoy this lovely menu. A bit noisy due to a very active group being served at the counter!
