Fancy a warm, comforting meal after leaving Gare Montparnasse, and the idea of couscous has been nagging at you all journey?
Then welcome to Bebert's.
The menu is quite varied, and the prices are in line with those around the station.
The service is also inconsistent, but overall it's adequate.
The food is decent, but it's not the best couscous in the capital.
A major drawback is that it gets very noisy when it's busy.
It's best to make a reservation.

Considered a classic for Moroccan couscous. I was there in winter, and the restaurant wasn't heated, or barely heated, so I would have preferred to keep my jacket on. The seating on the bench is quite high for the small table, making it a bit cramped.
The prices are steep for what you ultimately get.
We had couscous and a tagine. I got bread upon request. The house Moroccan wine wasn't to my liking.
I've been there once now, and it was okay, but I don't know if I would go again.

A regular customer, satisfied for decades. However, the last time I went I was disappointed by the quality (the chicken was clearly not free-range) despite prices having increased significantly recently.
