13/03/2026: You come here to eat noodles in a soup that doesn't lack in dried chilli flakes and it's GOOD ! It's not gastronomie, it's good food for cheap! Full score for value for money. The service is quick. You come, you order, you eat, you're satisfied, you leave !

14/03/2026: A cafe near the Garden of Luxemburg. The owner was extremely hospitable and friendly. There weren’t so many people when we were there. It a great place to take a break after a long walk! It’s is a home-style cafe so it offered basic drinks and pastries. We had our lunch earlier so we only ordered two cups of coffee. They were good and affordable (4,6 in total). I’d definitely go again and order the pastries next time.

A truly authentic spot in the Montparnasse neighborhood with a smiling, helpful owner whose homemade pastries are perfect. (Christiane, the young customer who uses a walker and is often unwell these days)

11/03/2026: This was our favourite meal in the 3 days we ate in Paris. We were staying about 15 mins walk away - and the restaurants near us were very samey and touristy. This was evidently very popular with the locals - evidently no other tourists had ventured there when we did! The service was fast and friendly. The food was ... so tasty. We had the chicken and ginger and the aubergine dish. Both beautiful and fresh with lovely garnishes. The price was reasonable too. Highly recommend.

20/03/2026: Frankly, a disastrous experience. The empty dining room speaks volumes: the few customers seem to be there only for a drink, and it's easy to see why. We paid completely unjustified prices for appetizers. The baked egg was overcooked, not runny at all—nothing like what you'd expect in a decent restaurant. The fried calamari was swimming in oil, clearly frozen, and utterly uninteresting. The steak tartare was equally disappointing. We asked for mustard and condiments: they were served in simple plastic containers… At this level, even some kebab shops show more care. This is supposed to be a restaurant in Montparnasse, but there's no class, no attention to detail, and no respect for the customer. Nothing was good. After having tried many restaurants, I can say this is one of the worst experiences I've ever had. Avoid it at all costs.

Everything is well-executed, flawless, but without any real surprises. At this price point, one has the right to expect more emotion, which can lead to a feeling of slightly underwhelming value for money. The service is professional and efficient, but remains rather cold and very formulaic. A serious restaurant, but one that leaves a somewhat bland impression.
