Both the “Capri” and “La préférée du patron” pizzas were absolutely delicious! A big thanks to the owners for their excellent service and kindness, it made the experience even better. Highly recommend.

Pleasant waitress, warm goat cheese salad, burgers and fries, and a very good kids' menu 😋 Great atmosphere, reasonable prices, and a clean restaurant!

My partner and I were visiting the weekend of May 24, 2025. We arrived in the early afternoon and discovered this restaurant was open until 3 p.m. (a very good thing for us). We were warmly welcomed by everyone present. Given the time of day, the order taking and service were very fast. I think if this restaurant is still open, it must be because there are only negative reviews. I recommend this restaurant and will definitely return.

I really enjoyed lunch (lunch) in the restaurant Pizzeria Chez Bertella in Deauville in Calvados in Normandy because everything was good, the warm welcome with fairly quick service and we had a good time there. The restaurant Chez Bertella is an Italian pizzeria located in the heart of Deauville, at 1 rue Victor Hugo, 14800 Deauville, France. It's easily accessible on foot from the train station or the beach. By car, you can park 100 meters away in the paid underground car park at the Deauville market or in the street but it also costs money. The interior of the restaurant is decorated on the theme of cinema and rock'n'roll, with film posters and vintage objects which create an original and warm atmosphere. At Bertella, the chef offers Italian cuisine with homemade pizzas, artisan burgers, fresh pastas and salads. I had a Parma pizza and it was very good. Besides, it was rather well stocked with Parma ham! Which I really appreciated. About the prices, I can say that the Average price is around €15 per person with a price range on the menu spanning between €9 and €23. My Parma pizza, well garnished with Parma ham, cost me €14 and the glass of good Italian red wine to accompany it cost me €4.50. The restaurant is open every day at the following times: Lunch (noon): 12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. Dinner: 6:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. Often it is already open in the morning around 11:00. I noted a takeaway service available. I also noted that access for disabled people was respected. On the other hand, I did not see an outdoor terrace. In summary, I can say that "Chez Bertella" is an Italian pizzeria located in the heart of Deauville, renowned for its original decoration on the theme of cinema and rock'n'roll. The restaurant offers simple and generous cuisine, with excellent homemade pizzas and artisan burgers, all at affordable prices. The friendly atmosphere and attentive service make it a popular address for locals and visitors alike. I recommend the restaurant Pizzeria Chez Bertella in Deauville because the dishes are good with reasonable prices and the Rock & Roll saloon atmosphere is original.
