CHEZ BOB sur Saint-Palais-Sur-Mer

We hadn't been for about a year. We were a little disappointed with our choices: tataki for my wife, presented oddly on a bed of onions; the small size of the steak on the children's menu; and a tartare that lacked consistency. Finally, being served in a ketchup container like we have at home was a bit surprising for an otherwise rather upscale establishment. The mayonnaise is also served in small ramekins. The setting is still as pleasant as ever, and the service is efficient. The coffee is a bit pricey.

Great restaurant, beautiful setting, fast service, top-notch! Simple but effective menu, reasonable prices. The waiters/waitresses are great, I highly recommend it.

We came on the first sunny days of March. It was certainly busy, but thanks to the continuous service, the hosts offered us a table at 2:30 pm, which turned out to be perfect. They even provided a high chair for our little one and the staff were very attentive. As for the food, we were pleasantly surprised by the quality bistro fare. We ordered two burgers and a pizza, as well as roasted brie as a starter. Everything was very well prepared, and another pleasant surprise: it wasn't overpriced. Yes, you're paying a bit for the setting, but the dishes are still reasonably priced. The setting itself is spectacular: you dine facing the beach, the light is beautiful, and the atmosphere is very pleasant. In conclusion: I recommend this restaurant for all the reasons mentioned above. You don't come expecting a Michelin star, but the food is truly excellent, and you enjoy the setting and the friendly staff. Well done, we'll be back.

A weekday lunch without a reservation on a beautiful day, so it was busy. The food was excellent, the staff professional and efficient despite the crowd. The grilled ribs were delicious; they were amazing.

For our second trip to the area, we rushed to Bob's for lunch in the middle of the afternoon in early February; it's definitely our favorite spot. Inside, there's a cozy and lively atmosphere, and outside, you can enjoy ocean views from the terrace or in a bubble—a great idea! 💡 The food is delicious and generous, and the service team is young, friendly, and energetic! It's perfect!
