The dish was perfect.
However, it was a shame to serve a chocolate fondant with crème anglaise and a rum baba with a knife and fork... and when we asked for a spoon, we were told they were out... even though the restaurant was half empty. What will it be like in peak season?
Luckily, a waitress dedicated to clearing tables, who was more attentive, noticed we weren't eating and brought two more.

Packed for Easter weekend. It was like a factory, and they had to serve quickly to get through to the eleventh seating. We barely had time to drink our aperitifs and eat our tapas before the main courses arrived.

Passing through the area, we were recommended this restaurant, and what can we say…
We had a wonderful meal!
The ambiance, the service, and the food were all perfect.
A truly excellent meal!

We've been coming for several years now, and we love it every time. The portions are generous and well-prepared: we adore it! Plus, the staff is very attentive.
This time we also tried the brunch menu: a real winner!!
It's a must-visit for us every time we're in Royan!

The food is good, the portions are generous, but it's a shame that upstairs you eat in the dark, and as for dessert, €10 for a cold and dry spit roast spoils the end of an otherwise excellent meal.

Fantastic!! This is our third time here and it's always been great, even though we were advised against it...

Disappointed, it's not what it used to be. It took an hour to get the main course because of a power outage; the least they could do is inform the customer. Then, for dessert, you have to call the waiter, and the same goes for payment. However, the food itself is good.
