What a wonderful find L’Optimiste is! From the moment you arrive, you feel a genuinely warm welcome from the attentive staff who immediately put you at ease. The dishes are simply delicious: flavorful, beautifully presented, and generous. You can taste the quality of the ingredients and the care taken with each plate. A truly delightful experience in a friendly atmosphere. An address I will treasure and return to with great pleasure 😊

Refined and generous cuisine Truly French, just the way we like it The atmosphere is warm and the attention to detail doesn't stop with the waitress, who is absolutely lovely and always smiling; she even goes so far as to provide sanitary napkins in the restrooms for our little oversights :) I highly recommend this restaurant, a gem of our beautiful France, nestled between the Limousin and Occitanie regions.

Excellent restaurant! Go without hesitation! We had a delicious meal on a Saturday at lunchtime... The owners were very accommodating... a carafe of rosé of average quality was immediately replaced with a bottle... such courtesy is rare these days! I plan to return with other friends or family.

01/02/2026: We had lunch here on a Sunday, the meal, made entirely from fresh produce, was delicious, I highly recommend it!
17/11/2025: The manager gave me a very warm and professional welcome; his kindness is something I'll remember. The room was very spacious and clean. As for the restaurant, I had a wonderful meal, a real feast fit for a grandmother. The stews were excellent, and the Belgian fries were delicious. I look forward to returning next time.
