A great place to eat mussels or have a drink. The atmosphere is pleasant and festive, but consequently, quite noisy. The service is really friendly.

We came to eat at Chez Chouchou restaurant and had a wonderful time. We ordered a Caesar salad, and quite frankly, it's the third one I've had since the beginning of our stay in the area, in different restaurants, and it's by far the best I've had. A generous salad, perfectly balanced, and truly delicious. The prices are very reasonable, the atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, and the whole team is incredibly kind. The service is attentive, always with a smile, and you can tell that the well-being of the customers is a priority. A big thank you also to the kitchen team for the quality of their work. Thank you again for this simple, authentic, and incredibly effective experience. We will gladly return if we are ever in the area again. 🙂

Very friendly staff, pleasant terrace. Small menu, very reasonable prices. Could improve in the kitchen regarding the quality of the fries, the cleaning of the mussels, and the cooking.

26/08/2026: For our first time, we booked for two! We arrived at the beginning of service! My partner ordered a dish with fries! What a disappointment! It really felt like the portion came from the bottom of a bag of frozen fries, with tiny, shriveled pieces! It's a shame, because my dish was something we make at home. It's a pity because the setting is really cute (indoors), especially considering the time of year! We're not going to let our first impression deter us and will come back so we don't end on a sour note! Everyone deserves a second chance

15/08/2026: La Coulée Douce in Quimperlé is a good restaurant overall. The dishes are quite good, well-prepared, and the presentation is elegant. You can tell there's been a lot of work put into the food, and the flavors are pleasant. However, I found the portions rather small, especially considering the prices. The restaurant is quite expensive, and even though the quality is there, the value for money could be better. You might easily leave feeling a bit hungry depending on the dish you choose. The setting remains pleasant, and the overall experience is positive. With slightly more generous portions or more reasonable prices, it would be a truly excellent restaurant. A good experience nonetheless, but I'm deducting a star mainly for the value for money.
