The food was of very good quality, and we enjoyed our meal. However, the wait was a major drawback: a full hour for a mixed platter! We saw neighboring tables (which arrived after us) being served before us. Yet, there aren't many tables, and not all of them were occupied. A shame.

Back at Chez DD, another wonderful experience. The service is always friendly and helpful. The place is peaceful yet only 5 minutes from the center. Settling in here is like stepping into a haven of relaxation, with excellent wines to discover and a variety of delicious platters to enjoy. Thank you!

We've only had one glass of wine. The selection is exceptional, and the service from the gentleman and lady who run it is more than pleasant—warm and genuinely passionate about what they do. And it's located on a quiet, charming street.

What an incredibly lovely and cozy spot this is! Just off the beaten track, it truly deserves to be in the spotlight. The atmosphere is homey, the people are warm, and the wines and dishes are delicious! Highly recommended with five stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

So glad that we found this wine bar !!! 🍷🧀 The owners were very friendly and their recommendations for the charcuterie board and wine pairing were spot on. The large photograph of the All Blacks rugby Haka was taken by the owner. Would certainly recommend this venue, there is also extra space upstairs with views of the church.

30/06/2026: A wonderfully authentic location; the service is attentive but not exceptional. The food is high quality, and the seafood platters are perfect for sharing. The appetizers are the best part. The wine is overpriced for the quality. The conch and bouillabaisse are especially recommended.
