Pour ceux qui résistent à la nouvelle cuisine ou à la fast food, qui débordent d'émotions devant des tripes, un os à moëlle, des rognons ou une daube de joues de boeuf, il faut venir chez Denise. La faconde des serveurs, le vin à la ficelle, les plats traditionnels et roboratifs, tout ici respire le restaurant de cuisine française d'une époque que les moins de 20 ans ne connaissent pas. il faut voir les habitués pour comprendre que Denise est une institution. Et même si on y croise des touristes qui boivent du coca sur des escargots ou un boeuf bourguignon......

The lady serving the front tables started her bad attitude as soon as we asked if they have a menu in English or Spanish. She brought the plates to us as if we were bothering her. Even though the food was good (as well as overpriced), I won't go back again because of the service.

The cuisine is simple, efficient and generous. The traditional dishes from the market halls are there (tripe, kidneys, liver, etc.), the authentic setting and the staff are friendly.

We wanted to discover a brewery for the first time. We were not disappointed. On a Sunday around 3 p.m. not too many people. The chicken was a little dry, the mash too much oil but otherwise everything was good. I liked the decor of the restaurant, the waiters and waitresses were very welcoming and pleasant.

Food was absolutely phenomenal! The restaurant staff were very friendly, as we couldn't speak any French, but they were helpful and kind. Food was so delicious, we couldn't finish it all!

I came across this restaurant quite by chance. Happy coincidence. I tried the veal liver (very good), which was huge, two of us could have eaten it honestly. On the other hand, only two small steamed potatoes to accompany it... a little disproportionate, I would have preferred a slightly less generous meat and a few more potatoes. Well, what is expensive in this case is the calf's liver, and for once, I got my money's worth. Friendly and accommodating staff. I think I'll come back for the homemade foie gras.

Superb food, wine and dining experience. Confit duck was brilliant as was the chocolate mousse. The ambience is lovely- very warm and authentic. No tourists here. Highly recommended (brush up on your French before visiting!)
