Hello, a quick review of our experience at this very nice restaurant, which was only really pleasant because of the waiter and the decor. The atmosphere was like a cemetery; we barely dared to speak, even though we were in Marseille, and being from Marseille of Italian descent, I think I'm well aware that on both sides of the border, people chat quite a bit and without any inhibitions... - The cocktails were good and reasonably priced. - 4/5 stars for the starter, which was good: "vitello tonnato." - 3/5 stars for the "real carbonara," good but nothing extraordinary. Having eaten and cooked it myself, it wasn't up to the standard of a supposedly "top Italian restaurant." - 2/5 stars for the cannelloni, not bad, but far too simple in taste and presentation for what was supposed to be a "trip to Italy" in this tavern. No cheese, or very little, and far too browned on top. Tomato sauce was on the sides, not inside or on top... why not? -4/5 Tiramisu: good and light, a pleasant way to end a meal. - Bottle of water at the end of the meal, just before dessert; I had to ask for it. - No offer of Parmesan for the pasta. - No complimentary limoncello, which is practically a tradition in Italy. I regret having to post this review, but I was truly disappointed, contrary to what I saw in other reviews and my expectations. Perhaps next time. Best of luck. 🫡

Good food, fast service, evening market

A good, friendly restaurant. Mainly Italian specialties. Beautiful decor. We had a very good time!
