In our wanderings in the south of France, we find ourselves in a small village on top of a hill. We are attracted by the sight of a windmill and we enter the town in search of the restaurant that Google tells us is open. We find Chez Eric where Francois, a Corsican waiter who speaks Italian, welcomes us warmly. Curious that with us he only speaks very loudly, while with the French guests he speaks almost in a whisper (are we a victim of the stereotype of noisy Italians?). The place is a little old, but pleasant. The walls are covered with photographs of famous actors. They don't have anything vegetarian on the menu, but chef Eric prepares some good and tasty ad hoc dishes for me on the spot. The other three carnivores find satisfaction from their dishes. The bill is steep, but ultimately not that much higher than the average we encountered on our trip.

Refined dishes, quiet place with the song of cicadas

Nous n’avons pas été déçus par cette table qui nous était chaudement recommandée . Sur une jolie petite place , nous avons déjeuné sous une tonnelle toute mignonne du menu unique à 50 euros entree-plat- fromage et dessert ! Généreux et original mention spécial au dessert «  signature «  la coque en citron et son sorbet verveine .. vaut une étoile Michelin Le personnel est très attentif aux clients : la patronne très bien .. tout est très fin !
