I was very disappointed. I came because we'd heard a lot about the restaurant and we had a celebration.
The welcome was very slow; they saw us but ignored us…
The terrace is dilapidated, the chairs are uncomfortable, I didn't dare move for fear of falling on a broken slat…
The dishes, however, were excellent but took a long time to serve.
The desserts in the "café gourmand" were not great, too many cookies and cakes, lacking freshness. (The herbal tea was excellent.)
Some servers seemed "absent-minded," while others were very pleasant.

Excellent food (with the added bonus of wood-fired grills!) in a warm, pretty, and very pleasant setting.
However, and this is a real shame… the servers were not at all pleasant (except for the young woman who served us, who was very patient and smiling!). There were seven of us, and when it came time to pay, we were asked how to split the bill. I basically replied that everyone should pay what they ordered, and the server practically sighed… and maintained an unpleasant attitude throughout. Dividing a bill by seven people when some hadn't ordered alcohol or had only a salad makes perfect sense. This attitude was a major drawback, and it's a real shame, especially since we had enjoyed the quality of the food.

The terrace is pleasant, but they should consider mosquito control. The chairs are nice to look at, with a vintage feel, but uncomfortable for a pleasant evening. The service was very slow between courses. The tables were poorly organized, with very disorganized waiters. The dishes were generous and flavorful, although the octopus was too rubbery. The dessert was very good. The price was high for what was offered.

Thank you for the wonderful time we spent last night with my son, daughter-in-law, and husband. The food was excellent, the service impeccable, the staff incredibly kind—a rare find—and as a bonus, adorable kittens to cuddle. Everything was truly perfect.
