The food is very good, with interesting and varied flavor combinations, especially the cucumber and apple ice cream for dessert.
The service, however, is a bit slow, both with taking our order and with the bottle of wine, which wasn't kept at our table and had to be requested each time.
The dining room isn't air-conditioned, and it gets hot quickly.

Despite the excellent food and beautiful presentation, we waited almost 45 minutes before our table was served.
We had ordered a bottle of wine, which was chilled. A waitress came to tell us she would bring it back, but we had to flag down another server because no one returned. It was a shame because we had to choose between eating our cold meal with the wine or eating our hot meal without it.

Second time at this establishment, second time disappointed. The food was decent enough, but the portions were incredibly small! Four thin slices of beef tataki as a starter and two tiny pieces of bonito as a main course, accompanied by fennel. The cooking wasn't even exceptional, just grilled. A minuscule piece of feta cheese accompanied by beets prepared with hazelnuts—not even a single crushed hazelnut in the dish! More of an amuse-bouche than a cheese course.

It was the perfect ending to our vacation.
We even got a table without a reservation. What luck!
We enjoyed a truly exquisite menu, with delicious dishes and interesting flavor combinations. The wines were perfectly paired.
It wasn't cheap, of course, but absolutely worth the price.
Everything was perfect from start to finish. Attentive and friendly staff! Highly recommended if you're in Orleans!

I'd been wanting to eat at Eugene's for a long time, and on March 20th, my family and I decided to go. We weren't disappointed. I work in the restaurant industry as a restaurant manager in the north of England, and what a pleasant surprise Eugene was! The restaurant is clean, the tables are beautifully set, the service is superb, the prices are reasonable, and the food is excellent—it's a well-run establishment. My only complaint would be to have a real plant on the table instead of a plastic one. Overall, 18/20.

We booked for four people. In the past, we've generally received a friendly welcome, with our coats taken, etc. Yesterday, nothing, not even a smile!
To top it all off, the portions were tiny, completely out of proportion to the price (we ordered à la carte), and to make matters worse, the coffee was served at the same time as the salad!
Unacceptable for a restaurant that's supposed to be good quality! There weren't even any petits fours to accompany the coffee...

Excellent dinner at an unbeatable price: amuse-bouche, starter, main course, cheese, dessert, and petits fours for... €41!!! Gourmet and original cuisine—oh, that cream puff with tomato pissalat as a starter! A delight! We'll be back.
