It was the perfect ending to our vacation. We even got a table without a reservation. What luck! We enjoyed a truly exquisite menu, with delicious dishes and interesting flavor combinations. The wines were perfectly paired. It wasn't cheap, of course, but absolutely worth the price. Everything was perfect from start to finish. Attentive and friendly staff! Highly recommended if you're in Orleans!

I'd been wanting to eat at Eugene's for a long time, and on March 20th, my family and I decided to go. We weren't disappointed. I work in the restaurant industry as a restaurant manager in the north of England, and what a pleasant surprise Eugene was! The restaurant is clean, the tables are beautifully set, the service is superb, the prices are reasonable, and the food is excellent—it's a well-run establishment. My only complaint would be to have a real plant on the table instead of a plastic one. Overall, 18/20.

We booked for four people. In the past, we've generally received a friendly welcome, with our coats taken, etc. Yesterday, nothing, not even a smile! To top it all off, the portions were tiny, completely out of proportion to the price (we ordered à la carte), and to make matters worse, the coffee was served at the same time as the salad! Unacceptable for a restaurant that's supposed to be good quality! There weren't even any petits fours to accompany the coffee...

Excellent dinner at an unbeatable price: amuse-bouche, starter, main course, cheese, dessert, and petits fours for... €41!!! Gourmet and original cuisine—oh, that cream puff with tomato pissalat as a starter! A delight! We'll be back.

The staff were very welcoming, the restaurant was well-maintained, and there was no wait. I was given this gift certificate for two people, for the winter menu with two glasses of wine. Everything was divine, delicious, and refined. The portions weren't huge, but it's a fine-dining restaurant, and for one evening, it was perfect. Thank you to the chef and the entire team.

This is by far my favorite restaurant in Orléans. The best value for money I've ever seen. Every time we come, it's an explosion of flavors. The chef is attentive, the staff extremely pleasant, the restaurant is welcoming, and the food is wonderful. A sure bet in Orléans.

We were surprised by the lack of background music, which made the atmosphere rather cold. The absence of background noise meant that each table could easily hear neighboring conversations, detracting from the privacy and comfort of the meal. While the dessert was excellent and justified the price, the rest of the seasonal menu struck us as quite conventional, lacking any real innovation or memorable surprises. Overall, we found the value for money—both in terms of quality and quantity—to be rather disappointing given our expectations.

19/04/2026: That day, the chef was alone in the kitchen and serving at the table... incredible, but everything was magnificently orchestrated. Many top restaurants in Orléans and elsewhere should take lessons from him, because lately, the most famous names in gastronomy only seem to care about filling their bank accounts, not their customers' plates, and the service, even with plenty of waiters, always leaves much to be desired. Moreover, we thoroughly enjoyed the meal, and that too is becoming rare. Bravo, keep up the good work, it was perfect, Chef.
