I have always loved French cuisine, and tonight was truly special. The Bouillabaisse was absolute perfection—rich, authentic, and packed with flavor. Coupled with the warm atmosphere and top-tier service from the wonderful team, Chef Fondon provided an extraordinary dining experience. Merci beaucoup!

It was my first time eating bouillabaisse, what a treat! It's delicious. This restaurant's reputation is well-deserved. Everything is perfect: the food, the service, nothing to complain about. Go for it!

Chez Fonfon is my first restaurant experience in Marseilles, and boy, did I choose one of the finest meals I have had in a long time. After a nice gazpacho starter, in came the bouillabaisse, wow, this is delicious. This is a mouthful of flavors from beautiful saffron, fish, orange zest, and secret ingredients and yum...can't get enough. The first course with the hot broth was with toasted bread smeared with mayonnaise with garlic and a saffron aioli spread. The bread sopped up the flavors and this was pure heaven. Next came a plateful of five types of fish...all beautifully pre-cooked and ready for the broth. I accompanied the dish with a nice white wine, Chateau La Coste. This famous meal was meticulously prepared, and while likely taking hours to prepare, I savoured each bite and devoured the dish in an hour or so. Honestly, this is a wonderful meal not to miss....wish I had room for some octopus or dessert!

A fantastic experience for my very first bouillabaisse! From appetizer to dessert, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The Gillardeau oysters were impeccably fresh and of exceptional quality to start. As for the bouillabaisse, it was excellent and very generous (you certainly won't leave hungry!). Regarding the price, expect to pay around €250 for two (appetizers, main courses, desserts, and drinks): it's not cheap, but the quality of the seafood and the legendary setting make it a truly memorable experience. A great place to eat in Marseille!

We enjoyed the bouillabaisse last night. It was delicious. A superb restaurant with a view of the small harbor and the magnificent bridge, especially at sunset. The interior decor is very pleasant. The welcome and service were top-notch. As a result, everything is truly elegant. However, the wine service really needs improvement. It lacked any finesse; it was abrupt and rude. A shame, because it completely contradicts everything else.

We came to discover the bouillabaisse and it was delicious!!! Don't have breakfast if you come to this restaurant.

Disappointed by this restaurant a few years ago, we returned to eat the bouillabaisse. A very good meal with very friendly service.

I enjoyed an exceptional bouillabaisse. The setting was refined, and the staff were pleasant and attentive. A quality setting to savor this Marseilles specialty.
