05/04/2026: I highly recommend it! The welcome is superb, the servers are attentive and very friendly! The service is quick, the portions are generous (even the children's menus) and delicious. In particular, the specialty, the ribeye steak: it's cooked to perfection. The setting is very pleasant and the restaurant is clean. The prices are reasonable.

19/04/2026: What a fantastic discovery this restaurant is, located on the 7th floor of the Sofitel hotel! You step out of the elevator and into the restaurant, and you're immediately struck by the experience; you know it's going to be extraordinary! The view is breathtaking, and we were perfectly seated to fully appreciate it. The service was exceptional, attentive without being intrusive. The entire staff was incredibly kind, and the dishes were served at perfect timing—neither too fast nor too slow. We had time to eat, savor the meal, and chat. As for the meal itself, we opted for the €89 set menu. Clearly, it's not a price we could afford regularly, but we thoroughly enjoyed every single dish shown in the photos. The portion sizes were perfect. I'm quite a big eater, and there's always the worry of leaving this kind of restaurant feeling like I haven't had enough. Clearly, that wasn't the case here; each dish was perfectly portioned. We left the meal feeling full but not heavy. I also want to thank the restaurant for the thoughtful touch at the end of our meal: small appetizers and a marzipan plaque wishing us a happy anniversary (wedding). Simply flawless! We will return as soon as possible with the greatest pleasure, perhaps one evening to enjoy the sunset with that magnificent view.

30/03/2026: We had never tried bouillabaisse before, so we chose to go to Fonfon, renowned for serving one of the best in Marseille. Unfortunately, the experience didn't live up to our expectations. The broth served was very thin and quite watery, far from the richer, slightly thicker texture usually associated with this iconic dish. As for the fish, it seemed a bit dry. This impression was reinforced after recently watching a documentary on television featuring a very different bouillabaisse: a darker, richer broth, accompanied by fish that was clearly much better prepared. Furthermore, one of our companions simply wanted fish soup, which was, incidentally, very good. However, the waiter insisted we order two appetizers, refusing to serve us just one on the pretext that we weren't ordering main courses. This practice particularly surprised us: it's the first time we've encountered this type of demand in a restaurant. Given the price (€65), we were quite disappointed with the experience, which didn't match our expectations or what we'd seen elsewhere. The rest of the dishes, however, were very good.

30/03/2026: I made a reservation to celebrate my 64th birthday. We were shown to a nice table, and settled down for hopefully a great experience. We weren't asked if we wanted an aperetive, but we requested them anyway, but weren't given time to enjoy them as our starter arrived whilst we were still half way through them. The seiche starter was actually very good, as was the bottle of Cassis red. My partner's Bouillabaisse arrived, and was in general ok, apart from sand in one fish, which we should have complained about at the time. My assiette de pêcheurs was full of good quality well cooked fish, but way too much on the plate, and lacking in presentation. We chose the profertoles, which the waiter kindly and correctly advised us to share, these were very good. I was twice asked if I wanted coffee with the desert, and twice had to say not now, after my desert With better presentation, more manageable portions and less hurry, it would have been a far better experience. All in all, rather disappointing birthday treat.

06/04/2026: A very welcoming and warm restaurant. The staff are always smiling, with very fast service and good food. I don't think I'm wrong about the atmosphere when I say: "Site benissimu cum’è vo site, ùn cambiate micca."

09/01/2026: Don't be fooled by the fact that it's not very busy: this restaurant is clearly underrated. The dishes are excellent, generous, and served in very large portions. All this for a more than reasonable price, which is becoming rare these days. A very pleasant surprise that I recommend without hesitation.

17/03/2026: This is a restaurant with a distinct character, frequented by many famous people, complete with photos and anecdotes from the owner. He immediately informs us that we have to wait 40 minutes to eat! The bouillabaisse is good, but nothing special; the soup is too thin for my taste; the baby squid is good, but the portions are small—you have to savor them! Especially at that price! But the cakes are absolutely delicious!!! Please give this a like if it helped you, thank you.

29/03/2026: The portions were generous, everything was great. We had the discovery menu for two, there was more than enough for three of us and it was excellent. The music was nice but not too loud, and the sangria was very good. I recommend it!

14/04/2026: Excellent service, very generous, friendly, enthusiastic, and professional—personally, the best pizzeria in Marseille. If you don't know where to eat pizza, go there; it's excellent. And the service is very fast.

11/04/2026: Exceptional service! Despite being closed, the gentleman agreed to make us a pizza and even gave it to us for free. Very kind, and the pizzas were truly excellent. I highly recommend it!

19/09/2025: A unique experience at L’Épuisette. Not being a fan of fine dining, I was a little worried I wouldn't leave feeling full, given the generous portions. But that's not what you come here for, and I was amazed by the flavors I discovered. The dishes are elaborate, very refined, and with the succession of courses, you leave with a very full stomach. I had requested a good table, and my request was honored, which made the meal even more enjoyable. A wonderful memory.
