Excellent seafood and good food. Very fresh. One small drawback: the dishes are served too quickly, even if you ask for time. But that's common in tourist areas in France.

For years, we have gladly made a detour for this whenever we are on vacation in the area. Delicious fresh shellfish, a nice glass of wine to go with it, and still reasonably affordable. The staff is friendly and helpful. The only minor downside is that smoking is allowed on the covered terrace.

We made a quick stop in Sète and looked for directions at a bakery. They pointed us to Chez François, just a stone's throw away. And we have absolutely no regrets! A fantastic place, delicious food, and everyone was so friendly. Even with two dogs and in the middle of a heatwave, they were incredibly attentive. The oysters, the small fried fish, and the grilled fish were a real treat. Thank you, we'll be back.

13/07/2026: Hello, We've been coming to eat here for two days now. Yesterday we came, the service was very good, but for dessert I ordered a tiramisu and it was runny. We figured it wasn't a big deal, so we got a refund. The next day we came back and ordered another tiramisu, and it was runny again. Otherwise, the service was very good overall.
07/07/2026: Still as welcoming as ever, we just had a drink 04/12/2024 back to the brasserie, plates always generous 08/08/2023 Very nice brasserie, the plates are generous.
