Excellent place to have a typical French dinner. Cheeses, cold meats and excellent wine. Good atmosphere and located a few meters from the Cailhau gate. Super recommended.

Vraiment top avec des amis lieux super avec une grande terrasse. Les prix sont correct en plein Bordeaux c’est normal. Pour y faire une petite pause dans la ville c’est génial.

We had drinks in the Palais public square here. Laid back bar with mainly outdoor seating and an extensive drinks menu. Helpful staff. Can order online from a QR code, though it wasn’t working, and so you can order with the waiting staff. We went as a family, though it seemed more of a hangout for friends and a place for date nights.

My favorite bar in Bordeaux. It's not as touristy and crazy like Le Le Michel's. You can people watch the square and everyone is super chill.

09/12/2024: Very beautiful setting. We went there for Sunday brunch. There is a wide variety of dishes on offer. The cold salads were rather original (parsnip salad and Jerusalem artichoke salad). Small downside: the service: the explanations given on the dishes are not good and for some people, we had the impression that they would have liked to be elsewhere... They were perhaps in a bad day, it can happen. I recommend it all the same and we will come back because it is good and the setting is pleasant
