Chez Gaby La Bonne Fourchette à Fronsac sur Fronsac

We booked one evening for two people, the welcome was very good. The food is excellent, you can feel the quality of the products (burrata) and the work of the dishes (starter + snacked tuna and ocean salad). We had a pleasant time, except for one BIG detail. We arrived at 8:15 p.m. and were served quickly with regards to starters and drinks. Then, we waited for our dish until 9:50 p.m., more than 1 hour and 20 minutes after the end of our starter (we had ordered everything at the same time). Most of the customers this evening (a Thursday during the week) had a long wait, but not to that extent. We were disappointed by the staff's reaction when paying the bill: "sorry for the wait". Clearer explanations, a little more concern or a commercial gesture would have been appreciated. The cook was alone, so there may be a delay, but the least we can do is warn the customer in advance that there will be significant delays. Help can be provided in the kitchen by the team if the cook is not coping but doing nothing is not professional... Despite everything, we had a pleasant time, we were offered blankets (as the night was getting cold). We will come back, hoping this time not to be forgotten or not to wait more than 1 hour 20 minutes at the risk of losing customers...

Nice place in Fronsac . By the road , but terrace at the back . Food freshly prepared . Starters / desserts €8/10 , mains €16/19 , plat du jour €24 . Service was prompt and friendly . I would recommend.

A treat! We arrived here a bit by chance (but still guided by good reviews), quite late, and a small table was set up just for us. We enjoyed each dish, we even fell for dessert, without regrets! The service is perfect, the menu succulent. We hope to have the opportunity to come back to the area to taste everything!

What a delight!! Finally, real cuisine, homemade and with quality products full of flavor.. But not only that! What can we say about the two waitresses...? Warm, caring, adorable!! THANKS !

A superb discovery, a magnificent place, a very warm welcome, very beautiful dishes, a subtle alliance of our cuisine and African cuisine, a real pleasure, we will return with the greatest pleasure.

An impromptu stop on the Bordeaux wine route... seduced by the terrace visible from the road... warmly received with a big smile despite our late arrival. Tasty Franco-African dishes with sweet spices inviting you to travel. Thank you for your kindness! We had a blast!!!!! Very good value for money!
