If you're passing through Fronsac, stop by Bistro Pharell. The food is authentic and generous. The chicken mafé is a pure delight, bursting with flavor, and their homemade bissap is one of the best I've ever tasted (incredible!). They also have a very tasty salad. Thank you for this culinary journey.

Thank you for the warm welcome and the quality of your cuisine, which truly transports you. The chef's explanation of the plantain banana was delightful! And the financier, which is anything but subtle as a dessert 😉, is a coconut financier in the style of profiteroles. We highly recommend it, and that's coming from four seasoned foodies. My godmother was transported back to the Africa of her childhood.
