Great restaurant, friendly, good, generous portions, very reasonable prices, and clean.
I regret not going there since my husband passed away. I live in Saône-et-Loire.

If you appreciate tradition and authenticity, you'll definitely love having lunch at Germaine's. I rediscovered the delicious cooking of our grandmothers, the satisfying pleasure of a simple yet expertly prepared and delicious dish. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and I'll be back.

Fantastic restaurant, top-quality ingredients.
We go there for the frog legs, and they're divine.
The staff is very attentive and friendly, a rare quality these days when so many people are grumpy.
Nothing to complain about, everything is perfect. We'll definitely be back.

This is a trip departing from Saint-Jean-de-Muzols on the Mastrur (steam train). Arriving in Lamastre (1 hour 45 minutes), we had booked a table at "Chez Germaine" as there were eight of us. We had a very pleasant time. The daily special, tuna tartare, was amazing. I highly recommend this place. The service is very professional. It's a great spot for a lovely walk around the village, returning via the park and the statue of Charles Seignobos.
