A very pleasant surprise! While browsing the farmers' market, we stumbled upon a restaurant that didn't look like much from the outside. A lovely terrace with excellent food. Very attractive prices for such high quality. Locally sourced products, all homemade. A starter, main course, cheese, and dessert for 22 euros! 🤩🤩

The location is a bit of a trek, as it's situated at the top of Lamastre 🥵, but it's lovely and the view from the terrace is relaxing.
If you're looking for something fancy, this isn't the place for you, but if you're looking for a restaurant with a friendly, family atmosphere and excellent customer service, then go for it.
You'll enjoy delicious dishes served with care.

I recommend this little restaurant, with a shaded terrace out back. The staff are super friendly. The cuisine is traditional and really good.
And the prices are attractive.

Great restaurant, friendly, good, generous portions, very reasonable prices, and clean.
I regret not going there since my husband passed away. I live in Saône-et-Loire.

Disappointing despite having a reservation; we waited an hour after ordering.
Some dishes were of good quality, but others, particularly the salads, were much less so—poorly sorted and disappointing in terms of their contents.

A warm welcome; smiling, friendly staff, attentive to our comfort.
Simple but excellent dishes.
We chose the €19 set menu: perfect! Starter, main course, and dessert.
You can choose a table inside or on the pleasantly shaded, flower-filled terrace.

If you appreciate tradition and authenticity, you'll definitely love having lunch at Germaine's. I rediscovered the delicious cooking of our grandmothers, the satisfying pleasure of a simple yet expertly prepared and delicious dish. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and I'll be back.
