13/05/2026: Lunch on our holiday road trip. A perfect, efficient lunch menu and a pleasant welcome. It's a shame the weather didn't allow us to enjoy the terrace…
09/05/2026: A simple, slightly old-fashioned but very comfortable hotel. The bedding and cleanliness were excellent. It looks like it's been recently renovated. There's no air conditioning, but it's not needed at this time of year.

17/05/2026: The menu online doesn't match the menu in the restaurant. It's more expensive than the prices listed. For Saturday dinner: a ribeye steak with fries (not homemade) and salad was €25. Other dishes were €22.50. There was a cooking smell (grilled) in the dining room. Drink prices were okay. Service was okay.
17/05/2026: A warm welcome, traditional cuisine: local beer + Ardèche menu (caillette, crique, salad) for a reasonable price, what more could you ask for...

25/04/2026: Absolutely fantastic, we ate well, received a warm welcome, an address to remember.
08/03/2026: Excellent cuisine featuring specialties from the Ardèche and Rhône-Alpes regions, among others, and a good selection of wines. Local, fresh, and high-quality products. Very good value for money. The welcome is warm and friendly in a beautiful, newly renovated dining room, and on sunny days, the pleasant panoramic shaded terrace is a real bonus.
A delicious and convivial meal is guaranteed, and we will gladly return. Thank you to the entire team at "Chez Germaine"!

09/04/2026: Set menu for almost 30 euros
Steak, salad, fries
The steak was very difficult to cut; there was too much fat and sinew. Three-quarters of it remained on the plate. As for the salad, it was very meager—just three sparse leaves. The fries were also insufficient. We told them, and they didn't even offer us more. To appease our hunger, she offered to add cheese for an extra charge. We refused and asked for the bill. As a result, we had a very poor meal. I do not recommend it.
02/03/2026: I was completely ripped off today. The waitress or owner charged me more than expected to give herself a tip, which she immediately put in the tip jar!
This is a dubious, dishonest, and unacceptable practice! I will never go back.
Stay away!

I think you came on the day of the fair in Lamastre, there must have been 5 or 6 of you, we had to move customers already present to install you, telling you that there would be a lot of waiting.
Sorry for not being able to satisfy you.
03/05/2025: Restaurant to avoid, after 50 minutes of waiting we are told an additional 25 minutes. The prices seem attractive but you still need to be served...we had to resort to a bakery!!!!
And the icing on the cake is that the restaurant does not take bank cards...The ATM is right next door...

10/04/2024: Excellente boulangerie-pâtisserie ! Tout est délicieux , pains, gâteaux, viennoiseries, et le personnel est toujours très accueillant et aimable. Nous fréquentons cet établissement depuis plusieurs années et n’avons jamais été déçus.
