My partner and I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel last May to celebrate our civil partnership. He had planned this getaway in secret, and I couldn't have dreamed of a better place for a romantic weekend. I was immediately charmed by the hotel's stone facade and poppy-red shutters. Upon entering, we were warmly greeted by Théo, who quickly showed us to our room. I couldn't contain my delight when I discovered the room with its solid wood floors and floral wallpaper, which made me want to stay there for the entire stay. The bathroom was also magnificent, entirely clad in green marble. From the window, we had a breathtaking view of the Loue River. We had the opportunity to try the breakfast, which I highly recommend if you're staying overnight, as well as dinner in the restaurant on the ground floor. As a vegetarian, I was thrilled to find a satisfying meal and at least one vegetarian option. Everything was delicious, and we were delighted to enjoy the comfort of a good meal just steps from our room. I highly recommend this hotel and thank its staff for this wonderful experience. Thank you again for the small bottle of champagne we received upon departure; it was a very thoughtful gesture and a perfect ending to our lovely stay.

We had booked a table for Sunday evening for a group of 38 people and were able to dine on the terrace. It was delicious. A huge thank you for managing to make our meal so enjoyable. I know it's even more difficult for a group. A special mention for the Paris-Brest, the best we've had in a long time, unanimously! And such pleasant, friendly, and efficient service! The bathroom is well-appointed with a spacious walk-in shower. Choose the rooms with a superb view of the river and bridge, as the view towards the village at the rear is rather dreary. The price difference is justified. A complete and balanced breakfast is served at the table. For the restaurant, the chef-owner demonstrates excellent cooking skills and a selection of good local produce. The wine list is decent in terms of choice, quality, and price. The service is professional yet relaxed. There are two large dining rooms (opt for the one with the large fireplace), in addition to the bar and two private rooms. And in the warmer months, the shaded terrace overlooking the Loue River is pure bliss. A beautiful place to recharge your batteries, feeling a little out of time in a preserved space with attentive staff.

Today, fate forced me to stop in, as I was experiencing hypoglycemia after an overly ambitious bike ride.
