CHEZ GERVAIS sur Chenecey-Buillon

A restaurant from my childhood, back after 25 years. The food is still as good as ever. We had a wonderful time on the terrace overlooking the Loue River. From the crispy pig's trotters to the ravioli... not forgetting the pike-perch fillet with Vin Jaune sauce... or the Black Angus ribeye steak... everything was perfect! The fried fish on the children's menu was just perfect! Thank you and see you very soon!

We only ate at the restaurant, and it was a real treat! Excellent presentation, refined dishes from appetizer to dessert... A superb setting by the water, shaded and inviting. Attentive and very professional staff. Dogs are welcome. We highly recommend it.

I went there for the restaurant. What a setting, what exquisite and refined cuisine, and impeccable service. Attentive staff. A truly wonderful discovery. I highly recommend it, although expect to pay between €50 and €60 per person.

The setting is great, the food is generally good, the foie gras a bit too "foamy," but above all, avoid the mojito. It's impossible to taste any rum or crushed mint, which is the basis of a mojito. It's more like lemonade than anything else. At €12, it's expensive for lemonade. A shame to spoil what was otherwise a very good impression.

We stopped by chance, and they found us a table with a smile despite not having a reservation. We thoroughly enjoyed the meal; the local products were very well prepared. Thank you for your warm welcome and professionalism.

My partner and I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel last May to celebrate our civil partnership. He had planned this getaway in secret, and I couldn't have dreamed of a better place for a romantic weekend. I was immediately charmed by the hotel's stone facade and poppy-red shutters. Upon entering, we were warmly greeted by Théo, who quickly showed us to our room. I couldn't contain my delight when I discovered the room with its solid wood floors and floral wallpaper, which made me want to stay there for the entire stay. The bathroom was also magnificent, entirely clad in green marble. From the window, we had a breathtaking view of the Loue River. We had the opportunity to try the breakfast, which I highly recommend if you're staying overnight, as well as dinner in the restaurant on the ground floor. As a vegetarian, I was thrilled to find a satisfying meal and at least one vegetarian option. Everything was delicious, and we were delighted to enjoy the comfort of a good meal just steps from our room. I highly recommend this hotel and thank its staff for this wonderful experience. Thank you again for the small bottle of champagne we received upon departure; it was a very thoughtful gesture and a perfect ending to our lovely stay.
