Beautiful location and good food – unfortunately, very disappointing service. We were here for dinner with a group of nine people (six adults and three children). Two days prior, we made a reservation in person and specifically asked if there were any children's dishes. We were specifically told about chicken nuggets and pasta with tomato sauce. One member of our group speaks fluent French, and I also speak sufficient French – so we can rule out a language misunderstanding. Based on this information, we made the reservation for nine people. The location is truly beautiful, and the food was of very good quality – with one exception. Unfortunately, the evening was significantly marred by the service, especially by the head waitress. Several things were recorded incorrectly when we ordered. For example, still water was served instead of sparkling water – not a problem in itself and easily rectified. More annoying was that we had specifically ordered steak tartare with fries as an appetizer, but it was only served with the main courses. When we pointed out that this was inconvenient, especially because of the warm fries, our point was completely ignored. What was particularly irritating, however, was the handling of the children's menu. We were suddenly told upon arrival that there were no children's menus, and specifically no chicken nuggets. When we pointed out that these had been offered to us two days earlier during our personal reservation, we were simply told it must have been a "misunderstanding." The only alternative offered was steak and fries, which we ultimately accepted. The bill was all the more questionable: the children's menu was listed as "Nuggets Frites"—precisely the dish we had previously been told was not available. Mistakes can happen. What matters is how they are handled. Unfortunately, we found the head waitress to be extremely unfriendly, inflexible, and unwilling to find a solution. The younger server, on the other hand, was friendly; our criticism is expressly not directed at her. It's a real shame, because the location is lovely and we were generally impressed with the food. However, for a dinner party of nine, we also expect friendly, professional service. Unfortunately, this significantly marred our experience.

We rocked up on a Friday lunchtime as a party of six and were immediately seated on the delightful terrace. The waiting staff were friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and came quickly. We had local beer rather than wine, which really hot the spot. Overall a great experience.

Beautiful location, good food. Service could be better; treated a bit too much like a one-time tourist. A friendly word costs nothing, after all.. They won't see us back here again.. plenty of other nice places in the area.

The service was a little disorganized, but super friendly. The food – we had snails and cured salmon as a starter, followed by ribs and beef tartare as a main course, and lemon tart for dessert. Everything tasted fantastic and cost €100, including a bottle of water, a carafe of wine, and a caffè au lait. We were thrilled! 👍🥰

A stunning terrace in the heart of Tourrettes-sur-Loup, a gorgeous stone dining room… in short, the setting is promising. The service, however, has clearly decided to play in a different league. The menu is appealing, I try the hand-cut steak tartare—it smells homemade. Until the corner of a plastic sauce bag ruins the illusion. I point it out. Silence. No explanation, no gesture. Nothing. I move on. I decide to try dessert anyway: the chef's lemon tart. And there, miraculously, it's excellent. Proof that even in a lopsided match, there can be a goal. In short: great setting, rollercoaster cuisine, service that dodges questions. The tart saves the day, but the tartare won't recover.
