An incredible experience at this restaurant! From the impeccable service to the quality of the products served as well as the “show” put on during the meal, it was a success! The appetizers, starters, meats and fish were all fresh and perfectly cooked and seasoned. We will gladly come back !

Cooking show 🔥 We go to Chez Hanafousa as much for the pleasure of the eyes as for the cooking. The restaurant is a Teppanyaki (“teppan” means “metal plate”, and “yaki” means “grilled”), these Japanese restaurants where the chef cooks the food on a large metal plate, in front of the customers arranged around the table. . At Hanafousa, a table can accommodate around 6 guests, so for example, two groups of 3 people arranged in two corners. In the United States, it is sometimes possible to have a real show halfway between cooking and juggling. This is not as much the case here, even if the chef still shows great dexterity, sometimes tossing the food on your plate with his spatula, or flambéing the food. The dishes are simple, and the spirit is close to barbecue, but everything is tasty. We took the Bara menu, which offers a salad, 2 starters to choose from (gyoza and sashimi) and 2 Teppanyaki (1 fish, 1 meat), accompanied by vegetables also cooked on the plate, it's plentiful! Even the dessert composed of small original Japanese bites was successful. A fun, friendly and tasty experience! We paid 110 Euros per person for a menu, sake, beer, tea and dessert.

You have to book, the place is pleasant and quiet, for that there is little space. The food is delicious and the service efficient! I will go back there !!

I was really itching for a Teppanyaki experience. This place was on my list despite the mixed comments. I went there with my wife and friends, here is how it went: Each couple took one Bara and one Hannafousa menu. The food was enjoyable not more. The wagyu sushi was toi sweet for my liking. The soup lacked flavor. The wagyu main dish was a good cut of meat but lacked seasoning. The one dish that delivered was the truffle tuna tartare, the avocado was the perfect ripeness, the tuna was fresh and the truffle seasoning was spot on. I was also disappointed with the quality of the show. It was one eg flip, and one flaming sear and that is it. Service though was superb everyone was very friendly and very helpful. It is not a place I would visit again unless I know they have shuffled things around.
