Very well eaten, very calm and serene place despite the crowds..
The waiters and waitresses are super pleasant, everyone takes care of the tables and comes to see if everything is okay..
To recommend with your eyes closed...

Nice restaurant to eat 👍. The meal on the day we came was not copious in dose on the plate compared to previous times and experiences. The sauerkraut garnish was not in large quantity 🥺 to make again another day to be able to give a new opinion

Heidi, this Bavarian restaurant, an incongruity on a summer beach, but a real institution. We have been going there several times every summer for 45 years (first with our daughters, now with our 8 grandchildren who ask when they come on vacation). We enjoy spit-grilled ham with melting parsley potatoes. For the more adventurous, sauerkraut and shank. Then ice cream and pancakes. The atmosphere is as friendly as ever with Heidi's two sons at the helm. The service is attentive. We recommend...

A restaurant right next to the beach just before the dunes, where you can enjoy a ham on the spit. Sauerkraut lover or not but I've heard it's excellent.
I recommend I had a great time, really reasonable prices. Great servers and very, very warm welcome. See you next time.

Grilled pork and chips or garlic potatoes are the staple main course here. Fantastic desserts and coffees. Very friendly service. Located right beside the beach.
