Chez Hubert sur Nimes

A very good meal at this restaurant, located right next to the Nîmes arena. The only downside was the somewhat cold attitude of some of the servers, which was ultimately offset by the excellent food and the rather quick service.

Day service, quite good after visiting the arenas right next door, good meal, service a little slow as there are only 2 of them, fair price.

We had a great time. The skate wing was perfectly crispy. I really enjoyed the tuna steak. The waitresses were friendly and efficient. A very good experience.

Really enjoyed our meal. We had the gardianne de taureau and lovely bottle of red. The view is stunning, very chilled.

A pleasant meal at Chez Hubert restaurant, with a varied selection of mostly regional products. I deducted one star for the rice, which lacked flavor, and for the wine, which was a bit too sharp for my taste.

A pleasant and welcoming place, the bull stew was excellent. Don't hesitate to stop by; plus, it's right opposite the bullring.

The brasserie is excellent, the staff are pleasant, friendly and welcoming; we tried the two Nîmes dishes and they were very good.

The restaurant is very well located, right across from the Arena. We received a warm welcome upon arrival, and the fact that they don't take reservations is quite convenient on busy evenings. The food was good. We ordered cheeseburgers and sausages, and we had no complaints; we enjoyed our meal. However, the service was a bit disappointing. We were among the first tables seated, but several tables that arrived after us were served before us. At first, we thought it wasn't a big deal, but after a while, the wait started to drag on. When we tried to ask about our food, the waiter walked past us without answering and sighed. Frankly, it wasn't pleasant. A few minutes later, he returned, but instead of apologizing, he mostly just made excuses. I understand that there's stress when the restaurant is full, especially with shows at the Arena, but it shouldn't affect the customers. It's a shame, because the restaurant is well located and the food is good. Without this service issue, I would easily have given it a better rating.

Restaurant opposite the Nîmes arena, pleasant meal and service
