A warm welcome, quick service, and a pleasant atmosphere. The portions were generous and the meat tender. A minor point: the burger steak wasn't cooked as ordered—rare, but it was served medium-rare. However, the beef was cooked perfectly. The only downside was the price of €29.90, which we found a bit high.

Excellent restaurant, warm welcome, friendly waiter. Quick service at lunchtime. We had Caesar salad, cheeseburger, and bull stew. All very good 👍

A quick meal during our visit to Nîmes.
The gardianne was excellent, and the portions were a good size.

What a shame, with such a beautiful setting near the arena and such good food, to have had such an unpleasant and disorganized waiter. My advice: he should find another line of work. He didn't even greet us when we arrived, didn't ask if we wanted a table, and clearly doesn't know the meaning of a smile.

The time spent at the establishment was generally satisfactory, but several points deserve mention for a better experience:
Service: Once checked in, the staff were pleasant and efficient. However, the wait for the initial contact upon arrival was a bit long, which somewhat disrupted the flow of the beginning of the meal.
Food: I tried the salad, and on this point, the value for money seems to be lacking. For the price charged, one would expect to taste the "real" traditional recipe with all its characteristic ingredients, rather than a simplified version.
Atmosphere: The ambiance remains true to what one expects from a Nîmes establishment: friendly and welcoming.

A warm welcome: smiling and very helpful staff. The daily special was good (veal hanger steak, fries, salad. The meat was cooked perfectly and was tender). A minor issue with the dessert: apple tart with walnuts. The presence of cinnamon wasn't mentioned, so it was an unpleasant surprise for those who don't like cinnamon.

Fantastic experience at Chez Hubert! The location is absolutely perfect, right across from the Nîmes Arena, with a really lovely atmosphere. We ate very well; the dishes were delicious and beautifully presented.
The service was top-notch: quick, friendly, and attentive. A huge thank you to Floian, who looked after us and was truly amazing from start to finish 👌
A wonderful time, I highly recommend it!
