A wonderful discovery just outside Corte! Escaping the bustling town center, we stumbled upon this charming inn, Chez Jacqueline, where the food is superb, featuring fresh Corsican ingredients and a delightful setting.

Jacqueline welcomed us to her Relais with her grandson.
The veal with beans and the lasagna are excellent.
For dessert, the caramel flan is a delight.
Don't forget to book ahead, as the lovely shaded terrace is quite popular.

We opted for the set menu, what an experience!
Special mention for the lasagna and the flan! The white beans were extra-large, a novelty, but not to my taste, very mealy.
In short, excellent value for money (and quantity), ready for a nap afterwards.

Welcoming, family-friendly, and quiet atmosphere. Very friendly staff and fabulous food. My boyfriend and I had the full menu (two appetizers, a first course, a second course, cheeses, and dessert) for €35 each. High-quality food, cooked in a simple, homely style. It tastes like home.
Definitely worth a try.

Excellent, very well served, tender and flavorful meat, and I personally had a superb flan. It's refreshing to still find this type of restaurant where there's no fuss; it's a place worth the detour.
