Chez Jean Paul sur Hoedic

Delighted with lunch at this restaurant where I have so many memories… I was there for the opening… a very long time ago. It was delicious, welcoming, and the setting is beautiful!

I discovered a place at Jean-Paul's, on the island of Hoëdic, with a fresh and pleasant atmosphere, where the food is a true delight: a magnificent scallop carpaccio, generous and flavorful sardines… a real treat! We had a wonderful time sharing our music there, "from Bach to Lobster to Mozart," with the famous Halvorsen Passacaglia and its surprises for dessert. A beautiful moment combining gastronomy, conviviality, and music, in a charming setting.

Excellent restaurant. The couple who run it are lovely, the food is high quality and beautifully presented, and the dog protecting the black kitten is so cute. It feels like home. We booked for seven at the last minute and they set up a table for us a little off to the side. Book ahead because it's small, but don't hesitate for a second.

First visit to Hoedic and lunch at Jean Paul's this May 22nd. Warm welcome, very pleasant place, and above all, an incredible meal. Red meat for my husband and pollack for me. Well done, don't change a thing!

I received a very warm welcome from the restaurant manager. Despite her being alone in the dining room and with only one other person in the kitchen, they managed the service very well! The meal was delicious! I'll definitely come back to the island sometime! 😊
