We had lunch at this establishment during our visit to the island.
The two young waiters gave us a warm welcome and did a good job as seasonal workers.
The food was good, but still far too expensive considering the portion sizes.
Such a price for a croque monsieur with an extra side of fries is outrageous.
Parisian prices...
This is an island with very few restaurants, so there isn't much choice, and tourists are trapped, with most not coming back anyway.
As always, come and form your own opinion.
Or bring a picnic and save your money for the evening trip back to the mainland.

02/08/2026: Delighted with lunch at this restaurant where I have so many memories… I was there for the opening… a very long time ago. It was delicious, welcoming, and the setting is beautiful!
23/07/2026: I discovered a place at Jean-Paul's, on the island of Hoëdic, with a fresh and pleasant atmosphere, where the food is a true delight: a magnificent scallop carpaccio, generous and flavorful sardines… a real treat!
We had a wonderful time sharing our music there, "from Bach to Lobster to Mozart," with the famous Halvorsen Passacaglia and its surprises for dessert.
A beautiful moment combining gastronomy, conviviality, and music, in a charming setting.

10/08/2026: We arrived by boat and specifically stopped to have dinner at this beautiful place. Pascal and his team welcome you with good humor and friendliness. Excellent food, top-notch service, a special mention for the Irish coffee. We recommend it 100%. Yann and Virginie
07/08/2026: This establishment is absolutely awful, especially at this time of year. I think the owners should be doing something other than running a restaurant in such a beautiful location. It's August, the place is packed, and yet these people don't want to work and are incredibly unfriendly. Arriving at 1:30 pm and being turned away is not ideal. We complain about how tough things are in France, but first and foremost, you need to want to work and serve customers. I do not recommend this establishment.
