Very nice restaurant, homemade food, very friendly owner, I ate on the terrace, the weather was lovely and the setting was just perfect, I highly recommend it, I will definitely come back.
Well, the reviews were very good, so we went. The welcome was very friendly, the service had character, but that's typical of a country restaurant. The food was greasy, the Jeanne salad could have been more generous, and the duck dish was truly disappointing, with an overcooked and very reduced confit, and a duck breast that was also overcooked, but no one asked how it would be cooked. A plate of small vegetables, as described on the menu, was served with a lot of fries. The real problem was the bread; how can you serve such low-quality bread with foie gras and throughout the entire meal? For dessert, the waiter told us it was included in the €42 set menu, but we only got two scoops of ice cream, not the third. The recommended wine was the cheapest one, a local wine, but very basic. The setting was very pleasant otherwise.
In short, we were disappointed. The food wasn't well-prepared, the quality of the ingredients was questionable, and the service could be quite inconsistent.
