Amazing place! I highly recommend it. They serve the best walnut cake (and it's flourless!) in the area!! The setting is beautiful, and the service is impeccable. The price is very attractive for such high-quality food, ambiance, and service. We were delighted with the food! Even if everything wasn't exactly to our taste (the stuffed cabbage), we truly appreciated the chef's creativity, generosity, and sensitivity in creating the menu. Our choice of red wine by the glass was a bit disappointing, but it wasn't a big deal; you have to try it. The owner thoughtfully seated us near the fireplace, which added a touch of comfort to the meal.

The staff are incredibly welcoming and friendly. The owner is the same.
A must-try restaurant, and next to it, an abbey church worth visiting. The charming little village of Paunat is beautiful.
And at Restaurant Julien, your taste buds will be in for a treat! A very varied menu. Reservations are recommended because it's so delicious that it's always full.
Dogs welcome.

We received a truly warm welcome at "Chez Julien." In winter, the fireplace crackles, and in summer, the enclosed gardens of the abbey are a delight, matched only by the dishes his team offers: a marriage of tradition and modernity. Excellent value for money, which allows us to enjoy it regularly. We love it!

We had a wonderful time at Julien's restaurant! All the dishes were delicious. I highly recommend ordering the set menu, as it's very complete and leaves you feeling full and happy. Julien is also very friendly, which makes the experience even better.

A real gem of Dordogne cuisine! Beautifully set, with a warm and friendly welcome! Excellent food from start to finish! Great value for money! Very good service! Parking opposite (behind the church). Wheelchair accessible! Important note: it's best to make a reservation! I highly recommend this place for a pleasant and convivial experience! Kudos to Julien and his team for all their hard work and delicious food!
