Chez Khalid sur Evian-Les-Bains

A very pleasant little discovery at this restaurant. The welcome was very friendly and warm, and the food, while simple, was very good. We wanted to try this place and were surprised by the simplicity, kindness, and hospitality. The service was quick. We wouldn't hesitate to return with a small group to share this restaurant with others.

We ate a very good royal couscous. Absolutely delicious. The manager was very pleasant.

A delightful first introduction to Moroccan cuisine During our stay in Évian, we discovered Chez Khalid - Le Marrakech, and what a pleasant surprise! This was our first introduction to Moroccan cuisine. The service was exceptionally polite and hospitable, taking the time to calmly explain the dishes and give us good advice. I chose the tagine with chicken, olives, pickled lemon, and potato; my wife had the couscous with kefta. Both dishes were exquisite: deliciously spiced, full of flavor, and generously served. The combination of the delicious food and the sincere, attentive service made for a very successful evening. Highly recommended in Évian; we would love to return!

I had a wonderful meal! The welcome was warm, the food was delicious, and the portions were generous. Authentic Moroccan flavors, yum! The tea was excellent. I highly recommend it! Thank you so much. Between 30 and 40 euros for a starter, main course, drinks, and tea.

We enjoyed the dinner at chef Khalid and the waiter and chef were really nice and friendly and fully deserve the full 5 stars! The restaurant decor is a bit dated indoors but outside is quite nice, but the plastic tables make me give a 3 star. I found the food not consistently good so 3 stars for that, the salad and the mint tea were really nice but the main courses with the tanjin and the cous-cous were a bit disappointing for the price we paid.

A warm welcome, excellent couscous, highly recommended. Attentive service. It's a shame they were out of Moroccan beer, but perhaps next time 😉 The setting and atmosphere perfectly complemented the food. Thank you.
