I think the menu pricing system needs to be changed. There's an extra charge for foie gras, and another for frogs' legs; personally, I prefer an all-inclusive price. Frogs' legs are a bit stingy for a main course, and €5 for a small glass of Coke is ridiculous! 😏 You should change your bread supplier; it's not up to the standard of good food. The young waitresses are nice, but they need training to tidy up the table a bit before dessert and clear the plates before serving coffee. It's a very pretty dining room with lovely tables and tablecloths, and the food is excellent.

We ate very well, the room is very clean and well laid out, the food is very good, the only downside is the service is much too slow and the filling for the chicken crepes was not to my taste, I prefer a good gratin but that is my personal opinion.

A magnificent place where the food is always excellent and the service is perfect – bravo for the beautiful presentations!

Bresse chicken with exceptional cream sauce, better than at Blanc's. Dining room a little noisy

We had an exceptional time at La Mère Bouvier restaurant. The dishes were simply delicious. Special mention goes to the chicken in cream sauce: a pure marvel that, in my opinion, far surpasses the level of Blanc in Vonnas! As for the melon and mango soup with garden herbs, it was more than divine, incredibly fresh and perfectly balanced. A huge thank you to the Chef and his entire team for their talent and warm welcome. We will definitely be back!

The meal was good, reasonably priced, but it's not suitable for those with a specific time commitment. 3.5 hours at the table for 4 people.

This was our second time eating at the restaurant, and we were disappointed. First, the children were supposed to participate in an Easter egg hunt (Easter Sunday), but after being seated, we asked how it was going and were told it was over. When it came time to order drinks, the children were forgotten; we had to place their order directly at the bar, even though the order had already been given to another waitress and never received. Then, out of 14 people, only 3 had ordered frog legs, and we only received a small plate, which I think was meant for two, despite the €7 supplement per person. The portions weren't enough... it's a real shame because the food is good. The service is too rushed and sloppy; the waitresses don't take their time, it's like a factory. They didn't even come around to refill the water or bread. Perhaps this wouldn't be so bad if the restaurant turned down some reservations and took more time. It would certainly be quieter too. It's a shame because in a restaurant, it's not just the food that's important; everything else is essential for a good reputation. The value for money isn't there.

Excellent restaurant, well worth the trip. We had a meal for a birthday party of about 15 people, and the portions were generous and delicious! Thank you for the wonderful meal. Take care.
