Very welcoming and the portions are generous.

We've been coming here as a group of five, about once every three months for the past two or three years. The food is still excellent, but we've been extremely disappointed with the service. The waitress and waiter spent more time chatting and laughing in the kitchen than actually attending to the dining room. I remember the first time we came; we were greeted by the owner, who, because there wasn't enough room, bought us a drink at a bar he owns, and then called us when a table became available. What a warm welcome! Bravo! Then, for a while, we had a waitress named Marine, who was perfect for the job and took great care of her customers. It's such a shame she's no longer there. In short, our current experience doesn't reflect what we used to know in terms of service, customer care, and atmosphere. It doesn't really make us want to come back anymore, even though we live 40 km away. But I'll say it again, the food is still just as good.

Ideal for enjoying a great barbecue. Good quality meat, perfectly cooked, all accompanied by quality wine at a very reasonable price. A pleasant atmosphere in the dining room, which is reflected in the food.

An exceptionally express Camembert

The servers were very accommodating for our last-minute reservation on Monday evening. We had a lovely time that we'll remember 😉. The Bretons and the Normans.

A lovely little restaurant on a pedestrian street. Wood-fired grill, generous portions, and very affordable prices. Starter, main course, and dessert: €35.50. Main courses are €23, including a 500g ribeye and a 400g entrecote. Homemade fries and enormous profiteroles. We went two nights in a row. We were a little disappointed the second night by the small size of the grilled octopus—just two tiny tentacles compared to the 500g of meat the night before—but we'll be back. The waiters were very friendly and the service was quick.

Mixed experience at Lazare. We tried this restaurant, located a stone's throw from the Palace of Versailles. The place is quite pleasant, with a warm and lively decor. However, several things disappointed us. The vegetables arrived cold, and there was a mistake with the garnishes on our dishes. I had to eat my vegetables from my partner's plate, already soaked in the caramelized sauce from his pork ribs, which wasn't very appetizing. The onion soup, despite being presented as a must-try, lacked flavor. These are the kinds of details that made the experience somewhat disappointing. Finally, there was an inconsistency in the menu prices. I had ordered a three-course meal (starter, main, and dessert), while my partner had only ordered one dish à la carte. When it came time to pay, the staff tried to charge us for two separate menus (starter and main, and main and dessert), which brought the bill up to €63 instead of €54. This manipulation leaves the experience ending on a bad note.

A fantastic meal, I thoroughly enjoyed it. It's best to come when it's not too busy; the downstairs room is a bit cramped but still quite pleasant. I recommend it.
