Friendly welcome. Noisy atmosphere. The main course was adequate in terms of quantity and quality. Stars deducted because the gourmet coffee was poorly presented and too heavy.

First time at Louisette's last Sunday for a birthday celebration. The food and desserts were delicious. We were served by Quentin, who was lovely and knew how to connect with our group, making sure we had a wonderful time. We'll be back! Thanks to the whole team for putting up with us 🩷

The establishment is very well located. It's a bar/restaurant. The interior style could use a modern update; it's rather dated and worn (especially the seats), but some might like it! The wine was served by the glass, which is unusual and curious in a restaurant. The amount of bread served with the hummus is a reminder of the current economic climate. Expensive, but still good and friendly.

Passing through the lovely city of Nantes for a show, we were looking for somewhere to eat afterward. We quickly realized we were asking for hospitality at a very late hour, and after a few refusals (sometimes incredulous, "10 pm? You can't be serious!"), we were welcomed at "Chez Louisette," where we were served a hearty mixed platter. The main room was booked for a birthday party, and we enjoyed the band's playlist in our corner near the bar. A wonderful, convivial time. The Saint-Chinian wine was perfect. Thank you to the team!

At Louisette's, it's a bit like having a beloved cat. You walk through the door and you immediately feel at home. It's not over the top. It's there, relaxed and welcoming. The music is well-chosen, accompanying you without being intrusive. You happily linger. A pint is €3.80. Really not bad. It's the kind of detail that makes you settle in and order a second one without hesitation. There's plenty to eat. I tried the fries. For someone from the north, they could be improved, of course. But they're still decent. Honest. Like everything else. The retro decor adds to the charm. A bit like that favorite old armchair, not brand new, but comforting. A friendly, unpretentious bar where you naturally return. Because you feel good there. Simply.

We ate at Louisette's by chance, but sometimes things just work out. A very warm welcome. The dish came with homemade fries (homemade fries in restaurants are becoming increasingly rare)... FANTASTIC. The prices are very reasonable. The decor is vintage... I love it; this little restaurant has retained its charm. If you're ever in Nantes (near the Îles de Nantes), don't hesitate to go.

A lovely time spent with friends, the decor was beautifully adorned with vintage photos. I highly recommend the Nantes cake 🍰, which was delicious, and what I also remember most is the butternut squash soup – a real treat! The only slight drawback was the very cramped access to the toilets. Something to reconsider, but otherwise, a good establishment overall.
