Go when you're really hungry! The food is also very good and plentiful! I highly recommend it!

Truly authentic cuisine... Venison stew for some... with a side of potatoes and mushrooms... a real treat! Garbure (a hearty vegetable and meat stew) for others... Cheese and Baked Alaska! A wonderful time! €31 per person including aperitif and wine with the meal... We'll be back! 😍

I'd been wanting to eat at Chez Loulou for a while, having heard great things about it. Located at the foot of the Col des Palomiers (with easy parking and wheelchair access), I first ventured out to hike the Casque de Lheris (5.5 hours round trip), and my body needed a good meal. Even though my appetite can be enormous, I opted for the €25 set menu. Eating alone, I didn't fancy ordering a pot of Garbure (a hearty vegetable and meat stew) and the daily special. I'm so glad I did! The portion of the daily special for one person is incredible. It's equivalent to three plates. Cooked to perfection, it's excellent. The refuge is spacious, with plenty of tables, well-decorated and laid out. It's friendly and welcoming. It was perfect!

After hiking up to the Col de Palomières in the rain, I enjoyed a delicious meal at this lovely restaurant with its warm atmosphere. They served excellent local dishes. A great stopover.
