Chez Luccio sur Meximieux

We ate here last night as a family with two children. Although they didn't have any pizzas at that time, they made an exception for us. The head pizza chef was kind enough to prepare two pizzas for the children, even though it was peak delivery time. They were absolutely delicious, everyone loved them. The children were thrilled with the whole atmosphere. I haven't seen such a child-friendly establishment in a long time. They catered to the children's wishes and even discussed with them exactly how they wanted their pizzas prepared, despite the language barrier ☺️ A very nice English-speaking waitress also attended to the children's requests while serving, always friendly and smiling. Salads, pizzas, burgers – everything was very generous and excellent – ​​très bon 😉 When we left, everyone – including the pizza chef – thanked us and said goodbye! We highly recommend this place – all in all: perfect, delicious, affordable, and very welcoming!

Dear Luccio, it's a classic! You can't go to Meximieux without stopping there. It's the restaurant of Meximieux. I used to go there as a kid (for pizza burgers) and I always will. The food is top-notch, as is the management. I highly recommend it!

The pasta is excellent, the Bolognese sauce is delicious.

The place is quite noisy, but the welcome is pleasant and the service is quick. The pizzas are decent, although I found them a bit small for the price.
