Chez Maryse sur Notre-Dame-De-Bellecombe

A must for a fantastic time. A dining room or terrace with a breathtaking view, yes indeed, and a truly authentic face in front of the oven: Maryse, who's been there since…ooh! The pizzas are sensational with a perfectly crispy crust, but don't forget (like we did today) the amazing lasagna. And then there's the famous blueberry tart…when they have them, because Maryse refuses to buy them. They make the pastry soggy. Or, failing that, her lemon tart. Should you ask if everything is homemade? If I were you, I'd avoid asking 😡 In short, a great time in an exceptional setting that's well worth the effort.

Pizza + Fondue: The Ultimate Combo For 45 years, Maryse has been delighting Notre-Dame-de-Bellecombe with her wood-fired pizzas at her restaurant in Lachat. It's a sure bet; you're guaranteed a great evening. Special mention goes to the Neapolitan calzone (which you can order open-faced), both spicy and creamy thanks to the combination of hot sausage and ricotta. You can also enjoy delicious Savoyard fondues, plain or with porcini mushrooms. There are also other more elaborate or slow-cooked dishes, such as beef cheek, which we didn't try. The wine list is fairly short and reasonably priced. I finished my son's fondue with the crusts of my pizza—what more could you ask for?! The service was welcoming and efficient!

Excellent restaurant near the ski slopes. There were nine of us, and the service was very quick and the waiters were very friendly. The pizzas are excellent, cooked in a wood-fired oven right in front of us—I loved it.

We had a wonderful family evening; the food was delicious, and the service was perfect. A must-visit!

A wonderful experience at this restaurant! We received a very warm welcome, with kindness extended to the children, which was truly appreciated. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. The pizzas are delicious, with a special mention for the Maryse, which was absolutely excellent 🍕 We will definitely be back!
