Chez Mathilde sur Maxilly-Sur-Leman

Absolutely perfect in every way... I've been there as a couple and also as a family with our 3 and 5-year-old children... Go without hesitation.

Living in the Chablais region, I had often heard about Chez Mathilde, always with glowing reviews. It's actually quite rare for an establishment to be so universally acclaimed, which made my partner and me want to come and see for ourselves. We were won over. The quality of the (local) products is remarkable, but it's especially the way Mathilde selects, prepares, and showcases them that makes all the difference. It quickly becomes clear why this place enjoys such a great reputation in the Chablais. We'll be back! (In fact, we've already been back a few times since May ;-) )

Ah, that perfect egg! It was truly perfect! But the rest was very good too, all local! We arrived somewhat by chance and partly by chance, and we were delighted to have found a table! Thank you!

I met Mathilde during my military service…what an adventure it's been since! 🫡 Her cooking is a blend of originality, flavor, and carefully selected fresh ingredients! Of course, she's chosen quality through local organic produce! Her beetroot financier is incredible 😉 Bravo, Mademoiselle! 👌🏼

We had a wonderful evening in a friendly, welcoming, and above all, delicious place! Seasonal, organic, and local products. Flavors, discoveries, beautiful presentation… everything was perfect! The owner is incredibly friendly, and her dog is adorable. In fact, it's a dog-friendly restaurant! The only slight downside, which isn't the owner's fault, is the heat inside, but it's an exceptional heatwave. However, we were able to finish our meal on the terrace, which was lovely. We'll be back! Thank you again!
