Restaurant in the heart of Auxerre, on the banks of the Yonne River. Very friendly welcome. Good quality wine. The food is excellent. A must-visit on my next trip to the region, with very good value for money.

There are restaurants where you pay the bill with a big smile. Chez Max is one of those wonderful surprises. The service is simple and friendly, and the food is of a quality that our taste buds often lack! The Iconic burger has become my go-to; it's both refined and hearty. Bravo, bravo, bravo!

Restaurant with a view of the Yonne River. Very well located. The beef with Époisses cheese is simply divine. Don't hesitate to have dinner there followed by a romantic stroll... A must-try!

It was delicious! The owner is alone in the dining room and manages everything masterfully, without stress or feeling overwhelmed at all! Very helpful, offering good advice, and very friendly. Everything flows smoothly, everything is perfect, the wait between courses is neither too short nor too long! The chef is also alone, but his food is simply delicious. And the value for money is unbeatable! €30 for a 3-course menu of this quality! Thank you for this wonderful experience.

I came to eat with two friends on a Sunday at 1:30 pm. It was quite busy and there was only one waitress, so there was inevitably a bit of a wait. But this minor inconvenience was more than made up for by the waitress's smile and politeness, as well as by the excellent food! Special mention goes to "L'Iconique Époisses," which was delicious and very generous! Thank you.
