A regular favourite. We love the pizzas and the casual friendly atmosphere. Particularly nice in summer when you can eat outside in the terrace but also good in cooler months.

Really warm place, we leave with a smile. The welcome is impeccable, the staff smiles and welcomes us with open arms. We booked last minute and they found us a comfortable table without flinching. The meals are really delicious and very hearty, very generous. Several other tables dropped off a tip for the team, and we did the same. It's well deserved, they're great, I'm happy to recommend this place and will return!

The restaurant is welcoming and offers good homemade food. Thank you to all the staff for their kindness (my little York kindly accepted to have lunch with me and started barking in the middle of the meal)...a total shame!!! Kindness in return for managing the incident :)

It was super busy. Yet they kept track. As we were in the front it was a bit noisy but that was just a small discomfort.

Le village est superbe. A voir. Au milieu de ce beau village. Le restaurant chez minou. N hésitez pas vous ne serez pas déçu. Je recommande vivement ce restaurant, aussi bien pour les plats que pour le personnel

Le parfait petit resto pour une pause quand on visite, sans pour autant être un attrape-touristes. Au contraire. Rapport qualité prix au top, service rapide, personnel sympa et accueillant, ambiance "comme à la maison" qui fait plaisir.

02/09/2024: Eleonore and the hotel Edward 1st are an absolute gem of Le Perigord Noir! One of the best, if not the absolute best, dining experiences we've ever had (and, we've dined at some of the best places in the world). In every regard, Eleonore is the most fantastic - superb cuisine, service that I would characterize as perfect, and most welcoming hospitality. The owners, Isabelle and Michel were so kind and they made us feel truly at home. You absolutely MUST go to Restaurant Eleonore in the charming medieval bastide town of Monpazier, it is a highlight that we are still talking about over a year later :) We cannot wait to plan our next trip back!

19/09/2024: Very good meal, impeccable service, the only downside is that as soon as unruly children arrive it ruins you the evening and the meal if you know what I mean. There are parents today who do not know how to teach their children to be less brilliant. The only answer you have (they are children). We also had children but they had an education, we could take them everywhere without being ashamed.
06/09/2024: Delicious cuisine, very good quality meat, everything is refined. Very good value for money.
