If you're passing through Ussel, a quick stop at Monique's is a must. You'll enjoy delicious and comforting dishes, including their specialty, a magnificent calf's head, in a relaxed atmosphere. You'll meet Rémi and Clémence, wonderful people who are happy to share their passion and do their best to satisfy their customers. At Monique's, you'll come back once, but you'll always want to return.

I don't even understand how anyone can criticize a restaurant that serves simple, local cuisine made with fresh produce. The 27 euro menu includes a starter, a main course, unlimited cheese and dessert. The 30 euro discovery menu includes a starter, two courses, cheese and dessert. There's even a workers' menu. Don't hesitate to book in advance, it's always full. Thank you for existing.
